About The Club
Established in 1903, Sherborne St John Social Club is one of the oldest social clubs in the UK. Originally founded as a Reading Room for the working men in the village, the club has since evolved into a welcoming space for families and individuals of all ages. Everyone is welcome!
George Wiggins Bar
This is the public bar and tends to be the busiest part of the club.
Here you will find a slate-bedded pool table which is a popular pasttime for members.
If you enjoy cards or dominoes you will also find some regular players who will welcome new blood.
Regency Lounge & Bar
This area features plenty of relaxed seating, a small dance floor, dartboard and fully stocked bar.
The lounge and bar can be booked for parties/functions online:
Television Lounge
This room can be closed off from the rest of the club and provides an ideal space for meetings.
